Coastal Harvesters, Inc (CHI) wants to hire a market manager to handle the physical aspects of the weekly Hatteras Island Farmers’ Market held in Avon this summer. The main duties of the part-time position include setting up and breaking down tables, chairs and tents, collecting vendor fees and tallying the number of customers.
The contractor will receive $80 – $100 per event and work from 8 AM to 2 PM. Eleven markets are scheduled, each to be held on Tuesdays from 9 AM to 1 PM between June 21 and August 30 on the grounds of the Hatteras Realty office.
