Coastal Harvesters, Inc. enhances the quality of life on Hatteras Island by providing local growers, harvesters and artisans an opportunity to sell their goods directly to consumers, to educate consumers about local foods and seasonal eating, to encourage and promote the use of local products, and to strengthen community bonds.

Coastal Harvesters, Inc. is a membership-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is based in Buxton, NC and governed by the following Executive Board:
